this is a true story.
okay so i got home and im watching the news and this reporter is talking to some nasa dude about the shuttle mission and the dangers/problems.
(slightly paraphrased, but you get the jist)
reporter: so, if it turns out that there is damage to the shuttle and there is an increased risk, will the astronauts still try to re-enter?
um no. they're going to stay in space until they die.
people amaze me.
